Glo NG cuts BlackBerry tariff Plan to N1,000

There are reports that the Second National telecommunications provider, Globacom NG has slashed down the tariff plan on BlackBerry devices by half, this was aimed at liberalizing internet access at a cheap rate for social and business services.

Mr. Adeniyi Olukoya, Globacom Marketing Coordinator, while Commenting on the launch of the new tariff plan in Lagos on Wednesday,said that in addition to the drastic drop in traffic by Blackberry mobile phones, there is considerable increase in the data allowance for the BlackBerry Z10 internet plans. He also said that the Globacom Absolute Month internet plan, which goes for N2,800 with upto 3GB data access, is slashed to N1,000 with same 3GB internet access.

The Week plan which goes for N500, with 700MB data cap, where the COWEEK and COMONTH data plans go now for N400 and N900 respectively with data cap of 700MB and 3GB.

According to the statement by Olukoya which he added: “Globacom is the first network to introduce Blackberry service in Nigeria and we have continued to maintain the lead by offering subscribers the best and most pocket friendly BlackBerry rates”.The new Globacom BlackBerry internet plans are for both new and existing customers across the country.
