Actually, OPERA SOFTWARE, the Norway-based web browser designer, is to become the first to bring full web experience to Smartwatch.
Report indicate that, users of the Tizen-powered Samsung Gear S Smart-watch will be able to access the web by downloading a new version of opera browser specially designed for the Smartwatch. Opera mini Browser is known for compression technology, which tries to reduce the amount of data used by a web page to as little as 10 percent of its original size.
To get the best from the Opera browser, users can synchronise Opera accounts allowing access to Speed Dial pages with a single touch. With this development, is now possible for users to surf the entire web from their Smartwrist.
According to Lars Boilesen, CEO of Opera Software “As a lightweight but powerful browser maker, Opera has been a pioneer of making the web accessible across a huge variety of connected devices, such as the internet keyboard, the dual-screen handheld game console, VoIP phones and, now, wearable devices,”
“We are thrilled that Opera Mini will be the first browser for Samsung Gear S users to download. This is an exciting new experience for smart-gear users.”
However this is the first official web browser for a smartwatch, it is far from the first attempt to enhance the capabilities of the wear-ables trend.
