We all know how it feels, when stuck trying to subscribe to a new data plan when your current bundle "MB" (data cap) has been exhausted on your active subscription.

So to be able to subscribe to a new data plan after you have reached your data limit without having your subscription expired, you need to deactivate your current data plan and here is how to for all networks:
- For Airtel, Text "stop" to 140
- For Etisalat Users Dial *229*0# or text "stop" to 229
- Glo users, simply Text "cancel" to 127
- MTN Text "reset" to 131
With the above, you can now cancel your mobile data package so you can purchase a new bundle.
So, tell us how it went via the comment section. Was the deactivation successful?
NB: It appears that reset to 131 is no longer working. To cancel your MTN subscription text:
- Text "EXPIRE" to 21600.
