With the rise of lots of data packages to choose from in day-to-day Internet activities, it gets confused on how to deactivate some data plans in other to activate a new one, in Nigeria is estimated that over 80 million people use their mobile phones as their only tool to browse the web monthly.
We all know how it feels, when stuck trying to subscribe to a new data plan when your current bundle “MB” (data cap) has been exhausted on your active subscription.
So to be able to subscribe to a new data plan after you have reached your data limit without having your subscription expired, you need to deactivate your current data plan and here is how to for all networks:
- For Airtel, Text “stop” to 140
- For Etisalat Users Dial *229*0# or text “stop” to 229
- Glo users, simply Text “cancel” to 127
- MTN Text “reset” to 131
With the above, you can now cancel your mobile data package so you can purchase a new bundle.
