LG has unveiled the world’s second flexible display smartphone known as the LG G Flex. The need for curved displays and flexible screens are now becoming a new battleground for smartphone makers. Flexible screens are seen to open up possibilities that will transform the high tech smartphone market which could be worth billions.
Curved display smartphones provide a better grip than the flat-screen models, but currently they lack some of the must have features like the flat screen ones means they are unlikely to be big hits anytime soon.

The vertically curved display of the LG G flex offers more video watching experience and it also uses a curved 3500mAh battery, phone’s chip board and other components to support its curved shape.
There are also media reports that Apple is also working to develop a smartwatch, which could come with a curved screen, but there has been no word from the company about its plans.
The phone is equipped with 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, internal storage of 32GB with microSD card slot and features 13MP rear camera. The LG G Flex is running on Google Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a quad core processor.
