The Tecno T1 mobile phone and is running on Google
Using social networks to stay updated and connected with friends and family is really good, expect the challenge that comes along with it. Battery and consuming much data is a big challenge for android users. So today we show simple tricks to use less data and battery on your android phone.
The big one that drains battery life is location permission, because Snapchat always checks for location updates in the background. Which usually drains your smartphone battery even when you are not using the app. To remedy this, you need to disable ‘location permission’ (available on Android Marshmallow and above).
Simply head to applications in your android settings, select Snapchat, then choose ‘Permissions.’ Once that is selected, just disable the location option and confirm your choice when prompted.
But once this enabled, you won’t be able to use Geo-filters, but that’s a small price to pay for a longer battery life, right?
ENABLED TRAVEL MODE
A smart old trick that helped anyone save data, as it ensures that Snapchat won’t continuously preload Snaps and Stories, by running in the background. In other words, before now, Snapchat was eating through your mobile data, even when you weren’t using it.
To enable travel mode feature, simply swipe down to access the main menu, tap the gear icon on the top right corner, then scroll down a bit and select “Manage Preferences.” Finally, enable the “Travel Mode” option. With is enabled, Snapchat won’t preload snaps or stories until you click on them.
