Expect Airtel 4G LTE Services in Your location as Roll out Starts Today

Yes, Airtel 4G LTE is here after successful long wait, it everything are falling at the right places as Airtel NG quietly and unceremoniously announced the roll-out of 4G LTE. Though Airtel was the first telecoms operator in the country to complete a successful 4G trial in Lagos back in 2012 but now the last to deploy the technology.

They went into hiding while they Nicodemus observed Glo 4G LTEEtisalat, and MTN roll out 4G LTE network in 2016.airtel-4g-recharge

Commenting on their new partnership with ZTE to facilitate the launch 4G LTE services in Nigeria , Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria, Segun Ogunsanya, said,

“This is a new dawn for mobile Internet in Nigeria. Airtel and ZTE’s collaboration to roll out 4G service pan Nigeria will dramatically improve mobile Internet experience for telecoms consumers across the country.”

“Indeed, Airtel is committed to strengthening its position as a true pioneer of innovation in the Nigerian telecommunications domain, as this is in line with our overall corporate vision of becoming the mobile Internet service provider of first choice for every Nigerian.”

The new partnership suggest that ZTE will build their 4G LTE network in Nigeria. The question on our minds is how long it will take for the roll-out to complete and we can start seeing Airtel 4G LTE is still unknown but I’m pretty sure it won’t take long.

Airtel is just a typical example of the first shall be the last. The most important question now, will they also introduce new data plans designed for 4G once they complete the build of the 4G Services?
