OnePlus has unveiled the name of its long awaited first Smart TV with premium features still in works and will be called OnePlus TV.
“Yes, we are going to call our very first smart TV product ‘OnePlus TV’ – simple yet to-the-point – as we believe there’s no other name that can best represent our value, vision and pride than naming it with our own brand,” – OnePlus.
The TV will feature smart capabilities coupled with the company’s ‘burden-less’ design philosophy to offer users a smooth and connected experience.
OnePlus has also unveiled the OnePlus TV logo, which is OnePlus logo with the word “TV” next to it.
“Honestly, it was harder than you could imagine during the naming process as we have seen so many creative names which made it a difficult decision,” the company wrote in the post. “Eventually, we chose to be true to our core values, but we are thankful for all the suggestions from you.”
There is no date fixed for the official launch ‘OnePlus TV but recent filing with the Bluetooth SIG, however, suggests that the OnePlus TV will run Android and use LED panels in sizes 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch 4K LED TV models.
